Although she has only appeared in one movie, small details presented in the film, along with cultural context, give us a good idea of the story of her life. Although she is the main antagonist, many fans know very little about her. In this video, I'll be analyzing everything we know about Isla, from her youth as the secretive daughter of a priest, where she might have gone during the years she disappeared and her death at the hands of a hellish entity. Unlike previous Conjuring movie villains, her lore is not really connected to the demonic spellbook, The Lesser Key of Solomon, but more based on the Italian concept of Stregheria.
